GetSharing.com is another website throwing their hat into the social networking arena. Like many social networking sites, they allow users to create profile pages for pictures, blogs, videos and music. What GetSharing.com brings to the table is different take on how to form the community. When registering with the site, users are asked to add three interests to their accounts. These interests are then cross-linked with other users with the same interest, allowing the community to be built in that fashion as well as the traditional word-of-mouth used by such social networking sites as MySpace, Orkut and Classmates.com.
