As of midnight last night, Portland, Oregon time, AboutUs pagecount stands at 11,003,771. Unfortunately, our Mediawiki statistics are broken, so this can’t be directly compared to the pagecounts of other wikis, like Wikipedia. When I dig deeper, here’s what I find:We have user: pages and user talk: pages and template: pages and category: pages and image: pages, some with talk pages as well, same as any Mediawiki wiki. Subtract those out and we have 10,726,646 pages in the main namespace. Of those, 10, 257 are redirects. So that brings us down to 10,716,389. I think most mediawikis also subtract our stubs, and I’m not sure what the definition of stub is. So, it’s a ballpark figure and your mileage may vary. And it’s still fun to say we have 11 million pages.

FYI, we topped 11.1 million yesterday: 11,101,434 as of midnight last night. 16 days for 100,000 pages added which is around 6000 new pages per day, a bit slower than the 15,000 per day we were averaging at one time.
