Our Microblogging Social Network, Analyzed

There’s a whole universe of applications that have taken advantage of the Twitter API, and AboutUs is a great place to catalog and learn about many of them. But probably our favorite tool of the bunch these days is Mailana. Mailana is a pretty amazing visualization of the fellow tweeters who you most often reply to publicly. In short, it’s one of the best ways to get a clear picture of your microblogging social network.

So who are we conversing with the most on Twitter? According to the interactive chart Mailana serves up, some of those we most reply to (excluding our own staff) include:

It’s nice to see our Twitter community reflects a lot of who we really are as a company and a community. That kind of honest reflection of our social network is why we think this app is so useful. Nice! Mailana did a great job at this o.o.

And it is interesting seeing the twitter web for AboutUs.
