Edit Collisions

What (summary)

Track instances of different people editing the same pages. We want to be able to highlight for a given user other users who are editing pages they have also been editing. These people are all potential collaborators. We should be able to display for people other people who have made the most "colliding" edits. I'm thinking that we count "edits", but that we also look at the edit size and perhaps categorize those as "small, medium and large". I'm concerned that just looking at total edits may favor those who save a lot and looking at total size of edit may favor the weird large edits.

Show collision edits (for logged in users) on the main page. Also show collision edits on all user pages. This way, anyone can see who's editing "around" another user.

Allow, users to "x" out people they don't want to see. This way they can see more people that they don't know and also if there's someone they don't want to be associated with, they can do that too.

Why this is important

  1. give users something of interest "wow someone else is editing this page or that"
  2. suggest co-collaborators

DoneDone

When possible co-collaborators show up for logged in users as well as on all user pages.
