WikiQuickFacts.com is a great way to study or just to bone-up on some random trivia. The website is a wiki of interesting information in an online flashcard format. Users can search for flashcards of information, but the true fun is just going to the site and clicking on the “random page” function in the navigation bar and learn new things. Users can also download their “Osmosis” software which will deliver random flashcards to your computer and view them off-line.

Gutenberg.org — Project Gutenberg is a repository of over 19,000 free books and other materials in electronic formats. The vast majority of their catalog lies in the public domain — the U.S. copyright has expired and you are free to download, make copies, or generally fold, mutilate and spindle. For writers and other artists, this is a playground for found art, poetic reductions, cut-ups or such projects.
